Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect almost nothing, and we explain the exceptions here.

This site is a static publication. It does not ask you to register, does not have a comment system, and does not require you to submit personal information to read anything on it.

Information we collect

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp — for security and troubleshooting. These logs are retained for a short period and are not used to build profiles.

Emails you send us. If you contact the editorial team, we keep your message and address to reply and, if relevant, to follow up on a correction.

Cookies and affiliate tracking

This site sets no tracking cookies of its own and runs no analytics scripts. However, clicking an affiliate link takes you to a third-party seller whose site may set cookies to attribute the referral and to process your order. Those cookies belong to that seller, and their privacy policy governs them. We do not receive your personal data from them — only aggregate commission reporting.

Third-party services

Pages link out to PubMed, government health agencies and other publishers. We do not embed third-party widgets, tracking pixels or social plugins, so no third party receives data about your visit simply because you loaded a page here.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Since we hold almost none, most requests will be answered by explaining that. Write to editorial@eyefortin-reviews.com.

Children

This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated date at the top of the page will change and the change will be described here.
